In 1905 Muscowpetung Reserve was bisected by the boundary between the electoral districts of Lumsden and North Qu'Appelle. As a result, the census data for that part of the reserve that falls within Range 17 was meant to be collected as part of District 12 Assiniboia West Subdistrict 38. However, the digitized scans of the surviving records from this subdistrict do not include any information regarding the residents of the Muscowpetung Reserve.

In 1911 the Qu'Appelle Indian Agency was meant to become its own sub-district, however it would appear that this reorganization occurred after the data was collected. Only a handful of entries pertaining to Muscowpetung Reserve residents appear to survive.
